COVID19 RESPONSE

Haymaker Farmers’ Market is committed to staying open for the entire Winter Season from November through April, however the location and setup of the Market may be changed during the course of the season. Under our current statewide COVID19 alert system, if Portage County is designated a Purple or Red alert level county, the Market will shift operations to continue as a Drive Through Market. Vendor fees will stay the same, regardless of location.

In addition, all vendors must comply with COVID19 safety rules while at the Market, including:

  • Face coverings must be work by vendors while at the Market, covering mouth and nose, unless a medical condition prevents vendor from wearing a mask.

  • 6’ social distancing must be followed whenever possible.

  • Products should be kept separate from customers as much as possible.

  • Sampling will only be allowed in pre-packed, sealed containers.

  • Vendors must separate products from money, either with two separate employees or through practices such as sanitizing hands between transactions or only selling products in sealed containers.

  • Additional rules as specified by the Market Manager, such as one-way traffic flow and maximum customer capacity.
