Haymaker Harvest Dinner & Farm Tour

A unique farm-to-table dinner and tour showcasing the seasonal bounty that the HFM vendors produce and raising funds to support the Market. Buy your tickets here!

Haymaker Farmers Market (HFM) and Cleveland Field Kitchen will be partnering to put on a unique farm to table experience geared towards showcasing the seasonal bounty that the HFM vendors produce and raising funds to support the market and its endeavors. The locally sourced 4-course dinner with wine will be held at a Barton Farm & Gardens and will include a behind-the-scenes tour, led by Farmers Lizette & Mike Barton. Money raised from this event will go towards Haymaker's mission to connect local people to local food - expanding local food access programs to the community, such as expanding our "Produce Prescription" and "WIC Perks" programs, our educational programs like the "Power of Produce" kids club, and much more!

Barton Farms is a small, family farm focused on growing a variety of fruits and vegetables and crafting delicious all local fruit jam. Mike and Lizette Barton bought Lizette’s grandparents’ farm in 2013 and have spent the years since bringing it back to life. With a focus on improving soil health and a lot of grit, they are slowly transforming the land into a beautiful and productive space.

The Bartons love nothing more than sharing a good meal with family and friends, and that continues to be a driving force behind their work. Quite simply, they grow what they like to eat, and this includes specialty items like cucamelons, golden raspberries, and heirloom tomatoes as well as kitchen staples like onions, garlic, greens, and peppers.

As longtime vendors, they were thrilled when Haymaker asked them to host this event and cannot wait to share their farm with Harvest Dinner guests.
